Internet Casino Sucker Wagers — Part Two

[ English ]
  • Progressive side bets: Games such as Caribbean Stud Poker commonly contain one of these. You typically place a wager ($1 is the normal value) to try to win a side jackpot that could reach $25,000. Though huge jackpots like this are very appealing, they’re also very difficult to win. You might have to get a Royal Flush in order to hit this bet. Also, picture this- you play twenty hands and lay the side wager each time. That’s 20 dollars you should have used towards the real game bet in place of a sucker wager. Picture what you could have been able to win at a bet with more favorable odds utilizing that twenty dollars.
  • Individual number wagers in Roulette: This is particularly true for American Roulette. The reason? American Roulette has two 0’s on the wheel, unlike European Roulette, which has only one. This shifts the overall house advantage from 2percent with one zero wheel to a huge 5% in American. The one number wager has only a one in thirty eight chance of succeeding, which are very long odds indeed. Try even-odd or black-red bets as a substitute which have a much lower casino advantage.
  • Keno: Any variation of Keno, and anyway you wager on it, the casino advantage can be a whopping twenty-five percent. Yes, that was not a error. Due to the large set of numbers you must choose, it’s not recommended to play Keno to often. A few times for fun, maybe. But do not spend all your cash on it or you will quickly find yourself beaten.
